Earth -12 was a world in the Dark Multiverse in which Ares waged war against the entire world, forcing the Justice League to fight back for two years. After finally catching Ares, Batman took his helmet and went mad with power, killing both Ares and Wonder Woman and becoming Batman: The Merciless.
